What is NDIS?
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is Australia’s first national Scheme for people with disability. The national scheme helps with access to resources and services for improved quality of life, independence and wellbeing. The NDIS supports over 500,000 Australians with disability to access the services and supports they need.
Under the NDIS, eligible Australians may apply for funding for assistive technology. In some cases, this includes approved mattresses and adjustable beds. Although we don't offer a product specifically for NDIS purposes, an Assistive Technology practitioner might approve a TEMPUR mattress or bed base on a case-by-case basis.
